This is not how the story is going to end!

When I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, I was terrified. I had a million questions and an enormous amount of fear.

Despite being told it wasn’t possible, from some place deep down inside, a place I did not even know existed, I made the decision that I was going to write the next chapter in my story, in my own way.

It was going to be about courage I did not know I had, determination I had never tapped into before and strength unknown to me.

My story has had lots of hard lessons but even more amazing moments and insights.

I followed my intuition that said, “the body is full of wisdom, feed it and nurture it properly (something I had never done) and you can’t go wrong.”

As I turn the pages, I continue to write each chapter my own way….full of hope. I am responsible for my life and I have the ability each and every day to decide how my story is going to unfold.
